Church Staff

	Rev. Glen D. Larsen, Jr., Pastor I have been the Senior Minister at the Community Church of Poway - United Church of Christ since September, 2005. I graduated from Claremont School of Theology and I have been an ordained minister for over thirty years. I served as an adjunct college professor of Philosophy and World Religion for seventeen years. I believe there are many paths to God and I honor spiritual diversity by actively promoting interfaith activities. My wife, Lynda, and I have two grown children, Marc and Lauren.
	Lee Laurence, Church Secretary Growing up in a Congregational church (now part of the UCC) plus my previous professional experience (software development, HR, management, administration) and personal interests (theatre and music) all help me as CCP church secretary. Here the daily challenges of running an office also let me reap the many rewards of greeting random visitors, supporting our professional staff, and assisting our many wonderful volunteers. It’s a great opportunity for me to show everyone who walks through our doors that he or she is very welcome here.
	Pat Peterson, Wedding Coordinator I have had an interest in weddings and brides since childhood.  As wedding coordinator at the Community Church of Poway, it is my passion and pleasure to assist couples in attaining their wedding day vision whether they choose to be married in our quaint Victorian chapel or main church sanctuary.  Each couple’s wedding is special to me.
	Pastor Debbie Hallmark, Youth Minister I am a licensed minister and the Youth Minister for the Poway Community Church - United Church of Christ. I direct Youth Ministries at our church because I am passionate about drawing young people into a relationship with God. I grew up in Poway and my husband, Sam, plays the guitar with our praise band, "Wing and a Prayer."  We have two daughters. 	Pam Brinkerhoff, Music Director My love of music led me to my first job as organist at age sixteen and my current position as Music Director of the Community Church of Poway - United Church of Christ. I have a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in music. Our music program includes the Chancel Choir, our praise band, “Wing and a Prayer,” the youth praise band, a youth girls’ ensemble, and an ensemble known as the “Kairos Singers.” Janet Williams directs the children’s choir.
	Pam Haney, Preschool Director I love my job as Preschool Director because I have the opportunity to visit classrooms, where I get to know each child and oversee their learning experiences. I am married and have two daughters, Brianna, who attends San Diego State University, and Jenni who has just completed high school. 	Kathy Poulin, Sunday School Coordinator I enjoy working with the children of our church because it’s exciting to be a part of their spiritual journeys. I am a teacher in the Poway Unified School District. I am married and have two daughters, Elizabeth and Abigail. I grew up in Poway and attended the Community Church of Poway as a child.
