Child & Teen Programs

At the Community Church of Poway we nurture the children and youth in their spiritual journeys through various programs just for them.

Our Community Christian Preschool is available during the school year for children between two years and five years old.  Our mission is to teach each child about God's love and affirm them as a child of God within the Christian tradition.  We follow the guidelines and the 10 month calendar year of the Poway Unified School District.  One of our goals is to prepare each child for successful admission into the Kindergarten program in either the Poway Unified or the San Diego Unified School Districts.  To register or for more information, [ Click Here ] to visit our Preschool website.

During every Sunday worship service, we provide childcare for children who are not yet of school age.  Come to church a few minutes early and ask an usher in the entryway about care for your child.

Sunday school is available for school age children and youth.

Youth in grades 6 through 12 should check out the programs offered by our Youth Ministries.

Children and youth are trained to serve as acolytes and participate directly in the conduct of our worship services; to find out more about acolyte training and participation, contact us.

We offer a children's choir for singers in grades K-5; contact us for more information.
